PURPOSE: To constitute a thickness of a wall usable for applying to a primary color printing and a suitable outer wall by expanding a diameter of a printing sleeve by introducing a low hydraulic pressure level of 100 psi at a maximum, setting a bending elastic modulus of the sleeve of 6×105 lbs/in2, hermetically sealing at a constitutional unit, frictionally mounting at a conventional cylindrical printing cylinder with a supplementary outer diameter, and easily expanding by using a low hydraulic pressure fluid.
CONSTITUTION: Inside and outside walls of a printing sleeve 10 body respectively have substantially predetermined radial diameters. The sleeve is shrunk by removing an expansion force. The force is applied by using a low pressure air and the other same type. The low pressure fluid is introduced at about 100 psi (7031 g/cm2) or preferably 50 psi (3515 g/cm2) at a maximum is introduced. Thus, a sectional diameter of the sleeve is expanded, and the sleeve is mounted on a printing cylinder. The sleeve 10 has a printing sleeve bending elastic modulus of at least about 6×105 lbs/in2 (42l86 kg/cm2).
