When accepting a print order in an express mode, before a customer uses the accepting apparatus for the acceptance of a print order, the photographic processing apparatus calculates the printing time required to complete a printing process that matches the print order. Once information, including the printing time has been sent from the photographic processing apparatus to the accepting apparatus, the accepting apparatus compares the printing time with an express mode specifying time, thereby determining whether it is possible to accept the print order in the express mode. A printing mode selection screen displayed in the display of the accepting apparatus enables selection of a print mode in the express mode, only if it is possible to accept printing orders in the express mode.
