Abstract:
To provide a printing system operatable with less power consumption.
Each printer 20 constituting the printing system has a function for transmitting information for power consumption calculation including warm-up electric energy currently required for entering a normal mode. A printer monitoring program 10 is installed in each PC 50 constituting the printing system, which collects the information of power consumption calculation from each printer 20, notifies a user of a correspondence relation between the number of printed sheets and a printer requiring the minimum electric energy to be consumed for printing the number of printed sheets on the basis of the collected information for power consumption calculation.
