Abstract:
To adequately reduce influence of an abnormal nozzle in an ink jet head.SOLUTION: A printing system 10 for performing printing comprises an ink jet head 102, an RIP processing part 14 which is a discharge data generation part, and a control part 110 which is a discharge control part. The RIP processing part 14 executes: density correction processing for gradation image data which is image data showing an image to be printed with a prescribed graduation that performs correction of a density of at least a part of the graduation image data on the basis of abnormal nozzle information indicating an abnormal nozzle; and quantization processing that performs processing for decreasing the number of graduation for the graduation image data after performance of the density correction processing, thereby generating discharge designation data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
