To provide a printing system which prevents a misprint caused by an error in setting or the like of the printing condition from occurring, and has a constitution provided at a low cost.

The printing system comprises: a host computer 10 in which a printer driver 15 for forming and transmitting printing data containing preview image data for making a user determine whether a printing is made (for making the user confirm an existence of the setting mistake of the printing condition) is installed; and a printer 20 having a function which makes the user specify whether the printing is made by displaying the preview image data included in the printing data.
