Abstract:
To provide a printing system capable of correcting curl in response to the degree of curling engraved in photographic printing paper and the degree of curling generated at the time of printing.SOLUTION: A printing system draws out rolled paper formed by winding long photographic printing paper into a roll and supplies it to a thermal head, and prints on the photographic printing paper to produce a printed matter. The printing system corrects the curl of the photographic printing paper by curl correcting means at least either before or after the printing. This printing system has residual quantity detecting means for detecting a residual quantity of the rolled paper, and adjusts a correction quantity by the curl correcting means on the basis of residual quantity information detected by the residual quantity detecting means. The residual quantity detecting means detects a weight of the rolled paper by weight detecting means to detect the residual quantity of the rolled paper.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
