Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display detailed information relating to a printer used in a network environment on a host device.
SOLUTION: This system is provided with a printing server 3 connected to a WWW(world wide web) server device 2 and the printer 4 for printing printing data transmitted from the host device 1 connected to the WWW server device 2 through the printing server 3. Also, the printer 4 is provided with a printing execution part 43 for executing the printing processing of the printing data and a printing control part 44 for controlling the operation of the printing execution part 43 based on prescribed set information and generating the state information of the printing execution part 43. Further, the printing server 3 is provided with a home page management part 32 for displaying the state information at the home page of the WWW server device 2 based on the state information generated by the printing control part 44.
