Abstract:

A platen (26) has slots (26mC,26mM,26mY) extending in main scanning direction such that slot width in the sub-scanning direction corresponds to a portion of the range of each nozzle group in a print head (28). Each group has a sub-group having a nozzle placed within specific range near the center of the group, in sub-scanning direction. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) inkjet recording method; and (2) computer readable medium storing inkjet recording program.
