Abstract:
To provide a printing unit and an ink processing method, which are able to discharge ink from an ink pan speedily even in a case where the ink plan has a substantially identical cross-sectional shape along an axial direction of a plate cylinder.SOLUTION: A printing unit 100 comprises: a plate cylinder 110 that transfers ink to a to-be-printed object; an ink pan 140 for storing ink, the ink pan 140 having an ink discharge part 142 provided near one end, in an axial direction, of the plate cylinder 110 and provided to discharge the ink, stored in the ink pan 140, to outside from inside; and inclination means 130 that inclines the ink pan 140 with respect to a horizontal surface such that a height level of one end of the ink pan 140 in the axial direction of the plate cylinder 110 is lower than a height level of the other end thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
