Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing unit and a printer which suppress increase in the number of components and manufacturing cost and have excellent operability.SOLUTION: A platen unit 2 comprises: a pair of shaft support parts 24 which respectively support both ends of a platen roller 10; a platen frame 21 which has a connection part 25 bridged between the pair of shaft support parts 24; a sub frame 22 which supports the platen frame 21 movably. A head unit 3 comprises a contact part 47 which is brought into contact with the connection part 25 of the platen frame 21 at the mounting position. A pressurization mechanism 37 which pressurizes the platen frame 21 toward the contact part 47 is provided between the platen frame 21 and the sub frame 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
