Abstract:
Printing group (01) comprises a form cylinder (03) and an inking system (02) assigned to the form cylinder. The form cylinder has in the area of its barrel an axial length corresponding to six widths of a printed page. The form cylinder and the inking system are rotationally driven by mechanically independent drive motors (08, 17). Independent claims are also included for alternative printing groups. Preferred Features: The form cylinder and a transfer cylinder (07) are rotationally driven by at least one drive motor mechanically independently of another printing group.
