Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize long reciprocating base guiding for a reciprocating base even with a compact constitution.
SOLUTION: In the printing unit for a web rotary press comprising a plurality of printing unit cylinders 6 to 9 each having one drive motor, and reciprocating bases 2 to 5 movable by a driver associated with at least one guide member mounted at a side of supporting walls 1 aligned and disposed on front surfaces of the adjacent cylinders 6 to 9, the guide members 12 are disposed oppositely on the walls 1 parallel to each other to perform long reciprocating base guiding for a wide reciprocating base even with a compact structure.
