Abstract:

To request protection of privacy without making a person who requests the protection of privacy feel any anxiety.

A requesting device transmits first secret featured value data obtained by setting featured value data in a personal image to a secret state to a collation device. An inserted information providing device transmits second secret featured value data obtained by setting featured value data in a public image to a secret state and an identifier for identifying an individual specified by the public image to the collation device. Then, the collation device collates the second secret featured value with the first secret featured value data in a secret state as it is. In this case, when the first secret featured data matched with the second secret featured value data exist, the collation device transmits the identifier of the second secret featured value data to the inserted information providing device. Then, the inserted information providing device notifies a request for protecting personal privacy identified by the received identifier.
