To provide a simply-manufacturable probe array capable of reducing consumption of a liquid sample, and its manufacturing method.
This probe array is equipped with a planar probe fixing sheet 2A comprising a base material 21A and a probe immobilization layer 22A; a transparent planar thermally-fusible first cover sheet 3A positioned on the probe immobilization layer 22A side of the probe fixing sheet 2A; and a planar thermally-fusible second cover sheet 4A positioned on the base material 21A side of the probe fixing sheet 2A. Full fringe parts of the first cover sheet 3A and the second cover sheet 4A are thermally fused, and a clearance for constituting a liquid introduction space 6A is provided between the probe immobilization layer 22A of the probe fixing sheet 2A and the first cover sheet 3A.
