To provide a probe for detecting a BRAF gene mutation, which can detect V600 mutations including V600E mutations in a melting curve analyzing method but does not show cross-reactivity with K601E mutations.SOLUTION: A probe for detecting a V600 mutation in human BRAF comprises a specific base sequence in which adenine located at position 19 from the 5' end is replaced with a base that is not complementary to cytosine or thymine; and cytosine at the 3'end is a fluorescently labeled oligonucleotide that is labeled with a fluorescent dye.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
