Title:
PROCESS CARTRIDGE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001194977
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent image defects, such as image unevenness, with a simple configuration, without imposing a burden to users.

An arm 79 engages with a part of the main body of an image forming device at the time of mounting a process cartridge B1 to the main body of the image forming device, and a drum shutter 78 moves from a closing operation to an open position. In conjunction with this shutter, a changeover pin 110 of an arm 78 moves a housing 107 holding an electrostatic charge roller 68, and the electrostatic charge roller 68 is made to abut on the photoreceptor drum 67. Image defects, such as image unevenness caused by the electrostaic charge roller 68 abutting on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 67 when the process cartridge B1 is not mounted on the main body of the image forming device, are prevented with a simple configuration, without imposing a burden to its user.
