Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge free from abnormality such as a crack, and which can be easily recycled, and to provide a method for assembling/disassembling the process cartridge.
SOLUTION: The process cartridge is provided with a 1st housing 37 for supporting at least an image carrier, and a 2nd housing 39 for supporting at least a developing apparatus, and by inserting a connection pin 56 into the 1st insertion holes 54A and 54B of the 1st housing 37 and the 2nd insertion hole 55 of the 2nd housing 39, the 1st housing 37 and the 2nd housing 39 are freely rotatably connected, and an engaging means is arranged in at least one of the 1st housing 37 and the 2nd housing 39 and in the connection pin 56 so as to press-insert the connection pin 56 into at least one of the 1st insertion holes 54A and 54B and the 2nd insertion hole 55 and so as to prevent the connection pin 56 from being press-inserted into the 1st housing 37 and the 2nd housing 39 after the engagement, besides, the connection pin 56 is provided with an axially extending connection pin main body 57 and a head part 58 which can be cut-off from the connection pin main body 57.
