To provide a process cartridge which has a housing, a rotatable image carrying means for carrying a visible image formed by developer and a cleaning means made of a flexible material and brings the top end portion of the cleaning means into elastic contact with the image carrying means, to scrape and remove the developer from the surface of the image carrying means, in which the top end portion of the cleaning means can be highly accurately and easily arranged in a proper position, with respect to the image carrying means.

The cleaning means 15 is pressed between the base portion fixed to the housing, of the cleaning means 15 and the top end portion coming into elastic contact with the image carrying means 11, of the cleaning means 15. A pressing member 17 whose projecting length from a screw hole 191 can be changed is arranged.
