Title:
PROCESS FOR CONTINUOUSLY PRODUCING SHOCK-RESISTANT MOLDING MATERIAL BY ANIONICAL POLYMERIZATION OF STYRENE OR OTHER AROMATIC VINYL COMPOUND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3256051
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject molding material continuously producible in high yield and high transformation rate by anionically polymerizing styrene or the like in the presence of a solvent and a block rubber and under specific conditions.
CONSTITUTION: The objective molding material is obtained by anionically polymerizing styrene or other aromatic vinyl compounds in the presence of a solvent such as toluene or the like and a block rubber such as styrene-butadiene-block copolymer or the like in 2 or more reaction devices comprising reactor cascades, whereby monomer fluid is distributed on the present reaction devices, the active ends of polymer are blocked by public known manner and the solvent is removed.
