Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase an overall arithmetic speed and to modify or add a program easily by using a microprogram for arithmetic processing which has a high execution frequency and requires a high speed, and adding the microprogram to standard instructions. CONSTITUTION:A process controller 11 when used for flow control over a city water system 12 inputs a flow rate signal from a flow-meter 13, the state signal of a pump 14, etc., and performs arithmetic for maintaining a preset flow rate to outputs operation commands to the pump 14 as a stop command and an opening extent adjusting signal to a discharge valve 15. A main storage device 23 has a target program for performing GET processing for each parameter and a CPU21 reads and executes the microprogram in a storage device 22 according to instructions of the target program. Consequently, the arithmetic speed of the process controller 11 is improved remarkably.
