Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent malfunctions for maintenance and inspection of a process controlling system, by operating a switch provided in an input or output part of a process input/output device to inhibit the transmission of control commands from a process controller to a process device. CONSTITUTION:In case of maintenance and inspection of the process controlling system, a switch 9 provided in an input part 5 of a process input/output device 2 is set. When the switch 9 is set, a process controller 3 handles this setting as the input of one data. Consequently, it is discriminated whether data inputted to the input part of the process input/output device 2 from data output parts 41-4n of a process device 1 or mimic output devices 81-8n is mimic information or information for normal operation on a basis of this data of setting of the switch 9. As the result, control processing functions in the process controller 3 are locked by software to prevent surely malfunctions of the process device.
