CONSTITUTION: A CPU 3 reads each fault state choice data registered in advance from a disk device 4, supplies the data to the operator display terminal 8 to display a message to process state items 17a-17n. Then a part with a message corresponding to the content judged to be faulty displayed among messages is depressed by a finger. Then a position detector 14 detects it and generates position data representing the position of the depressed part and supplies it to the CPU 3. The CPU 3 stores the state signal of the processing unit 10 obtained this time, the process state signal of a product 11, the content of the fault state designated by the position data and the time of the position data or the like outputted from the terminal 8 as fault data to the disk device 4.
