Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for complex operation such as the selection of a display screen or the setting of a window during the operation of a plant and to easily grasp process states to be time-sequentially changed by displaying a prescribed display screen as a multiwindow at the time of depressing a function key corresponding to a plant state. CONSTITUTION:Respective plant states for monitoring and operating the plant are supposed at first and various screens necessary for respective plant states and the positions and sizes of windows on a CRT for displaying these pictures are set up. Namely, an operator inputs a group number indicating respective display screens necessary for the monitoring and operation of one supposed plant state, sets up two points PA, PB in a window on a CRT screen through a keyboard 3 or a coordinate input device 4 and inputs the screen number of the screen. Said operation is set up also other screens to be displayed and respective screens of the set window are displayed on the CRT display device 5 in each operation. Then the inputted coordinates and screen numbers are transferred to a control means 13e and sent to a host computer 9.
