Abstract:
PURPOSE: To dry soybeans in high efficiency without causing the breakage of the skin, mechanical damage, etc., by drying objective soybeans at normal temperature to a specific water content under intermittent circulation and drying with hot air under continuous circulation.
CONSTITUTION: The soybeans to be dried are transferred through a soybean storage tank 1, a ventilation drying part 3 and a soybean-delivery chamber 2 and returned to the soybean storage tank 1 with a lift 12. The soybeans are dried to a water content of 20% at normal temperature while intermittently circulating via the above path and, thereafter, dried with hot air under continuous circulation.
