Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process of manufacture of a conical roller bearing filled with solid lubricant agent in which burrs causing an outer ring to be hardly separated at its manufacturing time are not produced and its work process can be reduced.SOLUTION: The process of manufacture of a conical roller bearing comprises the steps for (1) combining an inner ring 2, conical rollers 4 and a cage 5, assembling an outer ring model 8 having no chamfer portions of both ends at the inner peripheral surface and an encapsulation jig 9 to the combined units and sealing internal space of the bearing; (2) filling material 6' of solid lubricant agent before its solidification to the entire sealed space; (3) solidifying the filled material 6'; (4) removing the encapsulation jig 9 and the outer ring model 8; and (5)assembling the outer ring 3 to members constituted by the attained inner ring 2, conical rollers 4, cage 5 and solid lubricant agent 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
