To provide a process of manufacture of joint fitting having a resin flange that can be connected to an object to be connected and can be manufactured in a less-expensive manner without damaging a sealing characteristic and provide a joint fitting having a resin flange.
A ring-shaped groove 4 for use in fitting an O-ring is formed at an outer periphery of an inserting pipe part 2a inserted into an object to be connected at a metallic pipe 2 and a lock corrugated pattern 5 is formed at an outer peripheral surface of a pipe 2 at the side of the inserting pipe part 2a. Then, a resin flange 3 is injection molded at the outer periphery of the pipe 2 in such a way that an entire inclined pipe part 2b and the corrugated pattern 5 are enclosed from a part positioned at the corrugated pattern 5 rather than the ring-shaped groove 4 at the inserting pipe part 2a.
