To provide a process for manufacturing organic chemicals by a liquid phase reaction using a heterogeneous catalyst.
This process comprises step I to carry out the liquid phase reaction by introducing an organic starting material and the heterogeneous catalyst into a reaction of a reaction unit A, step II to separate the reaction mixture obtained by step I into a reaction liquid and a used catalyst in a separation unit B and step III to separate the reaction liquid separated in step II into the objective product and unreacted starting material. A regenerating unit C is further installed for firing the used catalyst separated at the unit B and a catalyst preparation step IV is furthermore incorporated in the above process for introducing the heterogeneous catalyst prepared by the catalyst preparation step IV into the reactor of the unit A.
