PURPOSE: To mold a hollow container where a handgrip does not escape from the container itself, by molding the handgrip in company with a connecting ring fitting with a circular groove formed at the container.
CONSTITUTION: A parison 1 having bottom is set in a blow mold 4 and molding is performed. At the same time with the molding of a container 7, circular grooves 9, 9 are molded on the peripheral side surface of the container by circular convex portions 8, 8 provided at the surface of the cavity mold of a blow mold 4. This container 7 is transferred to a mold 10 for the molding of a handgrip. The mold 10 is provided with a holding part 11 having same dimension with the container 7, and a cavity 13 is provided at one end of molding grooves 12, 12 scored at a same position with the circular grooves 9, 9. The container 7 is placed in the holding part 11, and air pressure is applied to the container 7 from an air nozzle 14, then a molten resin is poured into the mold from a injection cylinder 15. The resin is filled into a circular cavity 13 formed by the circular grooves 9 and the molding grooves 12, and also a cavity for the molding of a handgrip. Thereby the handgrip 17 is integrally molded to the connecting rings 16, 16.
