Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize an operator-oriented function and a process-oriented function by one OA computer while reducing the load on software of a microcontroller as the core of the system by using the OA computer. CONSTITUTION:The OA computer 1 incorporates OS capable multiuser and multijob processing and is connected to the microcontroller 5 through serial interface cables 4 and 4'; and the controller 5 is in charged of monitor control over processes and the computer 1 records and control data of the processes. Event information of the processes is sent from the controller 5 to the computer 1 and displayed on a printer 2 or CRT3. When an operator supplies a request to fetch process information from the CRT3 (with keyboard) to the computer 1, the controller 5 returns data corresponding to the request to the computer 1 and it is outputted on the printer 2, etc. A job A is run with low priority at the start and when the operator starts a job B such as compiling, the control is passed to the OS and its operation starts.
