Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely electrically connect a small-sized card.
CONSTITUTION: A connector is provided with a means which positions the card in the introduction position, and a means which rotates and holds the card so that it comes into contact with a contact element 11 which ensures electric connection between the circuit of the card and the connector. A card 100 is introduced at an angle to a central plane P by a groove 101 which is constituted so as to receive a first side 102 of the card 100. For the purpose of transferring the card 100 to the read position, a latch 19 is arranged so as to hold a second side 105 as the opposite side of the card 100. The card 100 is turned around the groove 101 and is moved to the read position while elastically deforming a mobile member 17 and is brought into contact with the contact element.
