Abstract:
To provide a process for producing a compound useful as a prophylactic or therapeutic medicine for diseases caused by hyperglycemia such as diabetes, diabetes complications and obesity, intermediates for producing the compound, and an industrially advantageous production process therefor.
The intermediate for producing the compound, which is useful as a medicine, is represented by formula (C), wherein R1 represents a 1-6C alkyl group, or the like, R2 represents a 1-6C alkyl group, or the like, R3 and R4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a 1-6C alkoxy group, or the like, and PG represents a protective group.
