Abstract:
To provide a process for producing metal-carbon particle composite material, in which uniformization of thermal property in the planar direction of a metal-carbon particle composite material can be achieved.SOLUTION: A process for producing a metal-carbon particle composite material comprises: a step of applying a binder liquid 13 prepared by dissolving or dispersing a binder 13a in a solvent or dispersion medium 13b on a metal foil 10, and then adhering a large number of carbon particles 3 on the metal foil 10, and next, drying the metal foil 10 so that the solvent or the dispersion medium 13b of the binder liquid 13 is removed, to obtain a preform foil 12 having the carbon particles 3 on the metal foil 10; a step of forming a laminate which is in a state in which a plurality of preform foils 12 are laminated; and a step of sintering the laminate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
