Abstract:
To enable obtainment of a polyester resin aqueous dispersion excellent in storage stability over a long period.
In the process for producing the polyester resin aqueous dispersion by dissolving a polyester resin in an organic solvent and adding water to the system under stirring to cause phase inversion and self-emulsification, the polyester resin is dissolved in the organic solvent so as for the solid content concentration to come to 35 to 70%, and then the rate (A) of addition of water to cause phase inversion satisfies the inequality: (B/50)≤A≤(B/5) [wherein A is a rate (kg/min) of addition of water and B is a total amount (kg) of water added].
