Abstract:
Water-soluble segmented polymers of the A-B-A, and (A-B)n types wherein the A-segments are grafted homopolymer, copolymer and/or terpolymer segments of water-soluble vinyl monomers, and the B-segments are homopolymer segments of poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) or poly(vinyl alcohol), are prepared by a process employing inverse emulsion techniques and cerium (IV) salt initiators.
