Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use catalytic cracking of a naphtha type cut to increase the yields of light olefins compared with a FCC unit operating with conventional feeds, and overcome the problem of cycling the thermal balance of the NCC by using a heavy aromatics cut obtained from the aromatics complex.SOLUTION: The present invention integrates three units: FCC, processing a light naphtha type feed, termed NCC; catalytic reforming which processes catalytic reforming heavy naphtha; and aromatics complex CA, which produces BTX.
