PURPOSE: To provide a preferable process of and a device for repairing a buried pipe which has been broken or damaged over a large area and which has a large hollow space.

CONSTITUTION: Reinforcement 15 such as a reinforcing net which can substantially cope with a missing part of a pipe P, is buried upon charging of a repairing filler. During the burying of the reinforcing member 15, the reinforcing member 15 is previously tacked to the outer periphery of a bulged part 5 of a repairing machine, and is then introduced into a pipe in a part to be repaired. The reinforcing member 15 is set at a position where it is buried while the bulged part 5 is enlarged in its diameter prior to the filling of a repairing material. The bulged part 5 of the repairing machine 1 incorporates a limiting means 15 for limiting the enlargement of the diameter of the bulged part 15, or a filler supply nozzle 10 is incorporated in the vicinity of the center of the outer periphery of the bulged part 5, facing or being opened outward while a liquid feed pipe 11 connected to the nozzle 10 is slidably fitted in the peripheral wall of the body 4 in a liquid-tight manner.
