Abstract:

To provide an adsorption/separation method using a solid containing zeolite having a specific structure of an IM-12 structure as an adsorbent mass.

The method for adsorbing/separating a certain molecular species from a mixture containing the certain molecular species and other molecular species by optional ratios includes a step of bringing the mixture into contact with a solid absorbent. The solid adsorbent contains the solid having the crystalline structure of IM-12 and the chemical composition shown by chemical formula: XO2:mYO2:pZ2O3:qR2/nO (wherein R is one or more n-valent cations; X is one or more tetravalent elements except germanium; Y is germanium; and Z is at least one trivalent element) as the anhydride base by molar ratios of oxides.
