To easily review a reference on the basis of actual records even if the reference for a process is subdivided.SOLUTION: A process assisting device is provided which includes: a reference data input unit into which data that includes a reference defined for a numerical value of a process segmentalized in accordance with a predetermined condition is input; an actual record data input unit into which data that includes the actual record values of the numerical value of the process is input; a segmentalizing unit that segmentalizes the actual record values in accordance with a condition; a comparing unit that compares the segmentalized actual record value with the reference; and a visualizing unit that visualizes the comparison result by the comparing unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
