To provide a method of generating power and while generating the product gas containing one or more of oxygen, nitrogen and carbon oxide or combination thereof.
A gas feeding material 28 containing oxygen, preferably air, is compressed to the pressure at about 155 psia (an absolute value at about 10.89 kg/cm2) by an air compressor 32. The compressed air is preheated to a temperature of about 800°C by a recuperative heat exchanger and led into a first negative electrode side 14 of a solid oxide fuel cell. The gaseous fuel 30 is led into a positive electrode side 16, and reacts with the oxygen ion transported through a ceramic film 12 for heat generation, and generates the heat, electricity and a positive electrode side flow of the mixture of the combustion product and the gaseous fuel, namely the mixture of the gaseous fuel/ combustion product.
