Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal or metallic substrate, an article obtained by processing the surface of the metal or metallic substrate, a method for producing the processed article, an apparatus with the processed article, and a method for incorporating the processed article.SOLUTION: A surface is processed with fluorine, silicon, and carbon. A gas containing fluorine, silicon, and carbon is introduced in the surface under a range of pressure and temperature for a time length between one or more steps. A component of the gas containing fluorine, silicon, and carbon (for example, fluorine, silicon, and carbon) is thus introduced on and/or in the external surface and/or internal surface of a metal or a metallic substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
