Title:
ANTIBACTERIAL/DEODORIZING PROCESSED MATERIAL UTILIZING INDUSTRIAL WASTE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME AND PAVING METHOD USING ANTIBACTERIAL/DEODORIZING PROCESSED MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001224672
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To produce an inexpensive product considering a recycling/environmental problem by imparting antibacterial/deodorizing properties to industrial waste, to produce an antibacterial/deodorizing material considering lasting properties, safety and environment by applying processing enabling unifoam coating and mixing and hard to elute and detach antibacterial/deodorizing substance to industrial waste in order to maximally developing antibacterial/deodorizing properties and to provide a method for forming a paving surface having antibacterial/deodorizing properties by mixing the antibacterial/deodorizing material with a paving material or the like.

An aqueous dispersion of an antibacterial/deodorizing metal, an organic acid and an inorganic binder is used as a processing solution to be uniformly applied to industrial waste such as sludge, a building waste material, glass, ceramic refuse or the like and the coated waste is heat-treated to process the antibacterial/deodorizing material capable of maximally developing effect. This antibacterial/deodorizing material is mixed with the paving material and the resulting mixture is laid on a surface layer part to be levelled and pressed to form a paving surface having antibacterial/deodorizing properties and having effect for suppressing the propagation of various bacteria and the generation of a molodor.
