Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the subject packaging form improved in storage stability and stain development problems, consisting of a specific processed paper made up of plastic layer and paper layer with one or both of the surfaces being of paper, to be used for packaging yeast cakes with the paper surface in contact therewith.

CONSTITUTION: The objective packaging form made up of at least plastic layer and paper layer (pref. one plastic layer and one paper layer). For example, a flat wood-free paper 5-10μm thick with its adherend surface pref. put to corona discharge treatment beforehand is coated with a molten plastic such as of polyethylene to a thickness of 5-30μm, thus obtaining the objective packaging form 450-2000cc/m2.hr.atm in CO2 permeability, 120-500cc/m2.hr.atm in O2 permeability and 200-1700cc/m2.hr.atm in moisture permeability with one or both of the surfaces being of paper.
