To provide a new treatment method for an organic substance.
This is a processing method for an organic substance by irradiating it with an ultrasonic wave in the coexistence of the organic substance and a processing agent for an organic substance. The processing agent for the organic substance includes a defective substance. The defective substance is such as a titanium oxide having an oxygen defect. The organic substance is such as an organic compound and an organism. The organic compound is such as 1,4-dioxane. The organism is fungus, bacteria and virus.
