Abstract:
To provide a method for generating, by processing biomass, a useful intermediate and a product material, for example, energy, fuel, a food product or a material.SOLUTION: A facility, a system and a method are described, which are used for treating a raw material of biomass, for example, a cellulose material and/or a lignocellulose material. A process flow can be refined by removing an undesirable component by utilizing a pseudo moving-bed system, for example, a pseudo moving-bed chromatography, an improved pseudo moving-bed chromatography, a continuous pseudo moving-bed chromatography and/or a related system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
