Abstract:

To provide a processing device for EGR gas condensate, capable of returning condensate generated in a heat exchanger to an intake side of an engine by sufficiently tuning the condensate into fine particles, even in the operation of any engine.

A processing device includes: a tank 36 storing condensate generated in a heat exchanger 19; an atomization structure part 44 applying vibration to the condensate stored in the tank and atomizing the condensate by turning it into fine particles; and a return passage 50 returning the atomized condensate from the heat exchanger 19 into a flow passage 18b at a downstream side. In accordance with the structure, when the condensate generated by the cooling of EGR gas by the heat exchanger 19 is stored in the tank 36, the condensate in the tank 36 is turned into the fine particles and atomized by ultrasonic vibration oscillated from the atomization structure part 44, and is returned to the flow passage 18b through the return passage 50. Accordingly, the condensate is turned into the fine particles without depending on the flow of the EGR gas, and is returned to an intake side of an engine 1a while being sufficiently turned into the fine particles, even in the operation of any engine.
