To provide a processing device and a processing method of a battery resin sheet, which prevent the generation of wrinkles in the resin sheet.
A processing device comprises: suction means which absorbs a resin sheet 350 fed by a first suction part 300 and a second suction part 310 adjoining each other; cutting means 320 which cuts the resin sheet sucked by the suction means between the first suction part and the second suction part; a support part 340 which is vertically movable while supporting the resin sheet; and feeding means 370 which feeds the resin sheet through the support part on the first suction part. The support part is movable from the lowermost point of which height is the same as the suction surface of the first suction part and the second suction part or less. In the suction means, the resin sheet fed on the second suction part after releasing suction on the first suction part, is sucked on the second suction part, and the support part is moved to the lowermost point before the resin sheet is sucked on the first suction part, then the first suction part sucks the resin sheet so that the resin sheet is sucked by the first suction part and the second suction part.
