Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device and a processing method of used ion exchange resin capable of efficiently and electrically removing ion and salt from the used ion exchange resin.SOLUTION: After the used ion exchange resin is filled in a column 2, a piston 4 compresses an ion exchange resin layer R. A positive pole liquid is introduced from a positive pole liquid inlet 3e of an end plate 3, and a positive pole drainage is discharged from a positive pole outlet 3f, and a regenerative liquid is introduced from an inlet 3g of a regenerative liquid, and a regenerative drainage is discharged from a regenerative liquid outlet 4d of the piston 4. In the state, direct current is conducted between a positive pole 5 and a negative pole 11.
