Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a processing time for forming a plurality of circular tips.SOLUTION: A processing device (1) comprises holding means (8) for holding a square tip (C1) and processing means (5) for processing in a circular shape by cutting a side surface of the square tip held by the holding means. The holding means comprises a sandwiching part (82) for holding by sandwiching from both obverse-reverse outsides by overlapping a plurality of square tips in the thickness direction and a position changing part (83) for changing a cutting position of the square tip by rotating the sandwiching part. The processing means (5) comprises a cutting tool (51a) having a cross-sectional circular arc-shaped cutting grindstone (511a). A side surface cutting step of transferring a circular arc shape of the cutting grindstone to the side surface of the square tip by cutting by the cutting grindstone and a square tip rotary step of positioning a non-faired place of the square tip above by rotating the sandwiching part, are alternately executed, and are repeated until the square tip is faired in a circular shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
