Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device (RX) for processing an order request of an ophthalmic lens.SOLUTION: The processing device (RX) for processing an order request of an ophthalmic lens comprises: receiving means (REC) configured to receive an order request which includes at least information related to an optical wearer's prescription, from a management entity (LMS) configured to be linked to at least one lens manufacturing device (MAN); processing means (PROC) configured to process the order request on the basis of predetermined processing rules so as to obtain parameters of an ophthalmic lens according to the information included in the order request; and sending means (SEN) configured to send the obtained parameters of the ophthalmic lens to the management entity (LMS). The processing device (RX) is configured to prevent an unauthorized access to the predetermined processing rules.
