To form a perforation having adequate ease of cutting regardless of a width of a medium.SOLUTION: A processing device with a sheet cutter includes: a cutter separation/contact device for moving a sheet cutter so that the sheet cutter is brought into contact with or separated from a medium 5; and a cutter moving device for moving the cutter separation/contact device in a cutting direction Y. A first registration part registers the number and a length of a plurality of uncut parts NC. In a medium information input part, a width Lm in the cutting direction Y of the medium 5 is input. A cut part calculation part calculates the number and the length of the plurality of cut parts C so that the number and the length of the plurality of uncut parts NC become the number and the length registered in the first registration part, according to the width Lm of the medium 5 input to the medium information input part.
